Gabon has been without a national airline since the dissolution of Air Gabon in 2005. In his year-end address, General Brigade Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema, President of the Committee for the Transition and Restoration of Institutions (CTRI) of Gabon, emphasized the relaunch of the national flag carrier as a top priority. Following the establishment of the regulatory framework, the appointment of key executives, and the formation of the shareholders' structure, FlyGabon is now in the final stages of completing its initial fleet setup.
