European Union Adds Air Express Algeria to its Aviation Safety Blacklist
The European
Commission has banned Algerian carrier Air Express Algeria from operating
within the European Union airspace due to compliance failures regarding
international standards. The decision was announced as part of the 48th update
of the EU Air Safety List published on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, coinciding with
the twentieth anniversary of the oversight mechanism established in 2006.
