Ethiopian Airlines Unveils $150 Million MRO Hub
On July 22, 2025, Ethiopian Airlines marked a major milestone with the
inauguration of a $150 million Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facility
in Addis Ababa. Completed in just two years, the new aviation hub includes two
state-of-the-art aircraft maintenance hangars, a component maintenance hangar,
and a central warehouse. The development reinforces the airline’s Vision 2035
strategy to expand its technical capabilities and support a growing fleet.
