Ethiopia Targets Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) Production within 3 Years
Ethiopia is set to become a key player in sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) production, with plans to start manufacturing the eco-friendly fuel within the next three years. This ambitious target was announced by Mesfin Tasew, CEO of Ethiopian Airlines, during a roundtable discussion at the 56th Annual General Assembly of the African Airlines Association (AFRAA) in Cairo, Egypt, held from November 17-19, 2024.
