EgyptAir to Launch Direct Flights from Cairo to Los Angeles in 2027
EGYPTAIR is planning a significant expansion of its U.S. operations,
with a key focus on launching a new direct route from Cairo (CAI) to Los
Angeles (LAX) in 2027. This will mark the airline’s return to LAX after a
25-year hiatus, following the suspension of services after the tragic crash of
EgyptAir Flight 990 in 1999.
