Cabo Verde Cracks Down on Hidden Fees with New Airfare Law
On March 6, 2025, the Civil Aviation Agency (AAC) of Cabo Verde published Regulation No. 01/AAC/2025 in the Official Electronic Bulletin (Series II, No. 42), marking a significant update to the general conditions of air transport. This new regulation, which repeals the decade-old Regulation No. 01/AAC/2014, aims to enhance transparency in the sale of airline tickets and better safeguard passenger rights.
