Cabo Verde Airlines Secures ETOPS Certification, Paving Way for Transatlantic Relaunch
Cabo Verde Airlines has reached a
major milestone in its recovery and network expansion plans after receiving
ETOPS 120 Minutes Certification from the Civil Aviation Agency. The approval,
announced by the airline on December 12, 2025, authorizes the national carrier
to operate transatlantic flights using its twin-engine aircraft, strengthening
its strategy to reconnect the archipelago with key markets in the Americas and
Europe.
