Brussels Airlines to Launch Kilimanjaro in June 2026
On October 28, 2025, Brussels Airlines announced plans to introduce
direct flights to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) in Tanzania,
expanding its footprint in East Africa. The new service, set to begin on June
3, 2026, will operate twice weekly (Wednesday and saturday) between Brussels Airport (BRU) and
Kilimanjaro using the Airbus A330-300 (with a capacity of 288 seats). Flights will run on Wednesdays and Saturdays,
offering passengers a choice between Business, Premium Economy, and Economy
Class cabins.
