Breaking Barriers : Ethiopian Airlines CEO's Call to End Protectionism
Year after year, debate
after debate, it is repeatedly emphasized that protectionism is one of the main
challenges impeding the development of the aviation sector in Africa, which
currently holds only a meager 3% share of the global market. Ethiopian
Airlines' CEO reiterated this point on Monday, May 13, 2024, during a press
conference held at the opening of the 12th Aviation Stakeholders Convention of
AFRAA in Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia.
