Astral Aviation Takes Delivery of Boeing 737-400F on Dry Lease from Avmax

Astral Aviation has officially welcomed its new Boeing 737-400F, which landed in Nairobi, Kenya, on Thursday, November 21, 2024, after a long-haul flight from Moncton, Canada, with stops in Edinburgh and Cairo. The 32-year-old aircraft (MSN 27082), previously operated by Alaska Airlines until 2017, was leased through a dry lease agreement with Canadian lessor Avmax Group. The announcement of this transaction was made at the AviaDev 2024 conference in Windhoek, Namibia.
