As the peak summer travel season looms, airline Afrijet — operating domestically under the FLYGABON brand — is sounding the alarm. The company is denouncing a sudden, unilateral hike in passenger taxes in Gabon, most notably the "WZ" security tax, which has more than doubled in just one month. In response, the carrier has announced a temporary suspension of this increase for tickets purchased directly from its sales points.
