Nigeria’s Air Peace Secures Four Damp-Leased Boeing 737-800 from AirExplore
Nigerian private airline, Air Peace, has inked a significant agreement with Slovakian private carrier, AirExplore, a subsidiary of Avia Solutions Group. The deal, finalized on Monday, August 12, 2024, in Lagos, Nigeria, entails the temporary acquisition of four Boeing 737-800 aircraft on damp-lease terms. This development comes as a welcome relief for the Nigerian carrier, which currently has over two-thirds of its medium-haul fleet grounded – amounting to eleven aircraft.
