Air Burkina to Acquire New Aircraft by September for Relaunch
Air Burkina is preparing to acquire a new aircraft as part of its efforts to relaunch operations. On August 8, 2024, Exiting Transport Minister Roland Somda announced that the national carrier, which has been inactive since April, would fully own the new aircraft rather than lease it. The acquisition is expected to be finalized by September 2024 from a Chinese owner.
