Air Botswana Relaunches Sale of ATR 42-500 Aircraft in Latest Tender
Air Botswana has once again put its ATR 42-500 aircraft, registered as A2-ABN (MSN 507), up for sale, along with its associated inventories, under a public tender process governed by Botswana’s Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act. The airline issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) on March 31, 2025, inviting bids from domestic and international buyers on an “as is, where is” basis. This marks the latest chapter in the airline’s efforts to offload the aging turboprop, which has been listed for sale multiple times over the past few years.
