Air Botswana Faces Financial Crisis: Salaries Delayed and Embraer Fleet Grounded

Air Botswana’s future is increasingly uncertain as the national carrier grapples with a financial crisis that has led to the delay of salaries for the fourth consecutive month. In an internal memo obtained by NewsAero, the airline’s management attributed the issue to a lack of cash flow and underperforming financial projections. Salaries for April, originally scheduled for payment on April 25, will now be paid by May 2 at the latest, according to the airline’s current commitments.
