Abelo Renews Commitment to Madagascar Airlines With Two ATR Lease Extensions
On June 23, Madagascar Airlines confirmed the extension of two ATR72 lease agreements with Irish lessor Abelo—securing aircraft 5R-MJF (ATR 72-500, 22 years old, MSN 698) until January 2028 and 5R-EJB (ATR 72-600, 10 years old, MSN 1248) until November 2029. The deal was facilitated by the French firm PROPERJET, led by Othman Kamal-Chaoui, a former ATR executive.
