$300 Million: Central and West Africa (XAF and XOF zone) Hold the Largest Share of Blocked Airline Revenues
At the 56th Annual General Assembly of the African Airlines Association (AFRAA), held in Cairo, Egypt, from November 17 to 19, 2024, International Air Transport Association (IATA) Director General Willie Walsh revealed that Central and West Africa hold the largest share of the world’s blocked airline revenues, totaling $300 million.
