South Africa’s Minister of Transport, Barbara Creecy, has issued a two-week ultimatum to Air Traffic Navigation Services (ATNS) to devise a comprehensive resolution plan for the persistent suspension of flight instrument navigation that is adversely impacting several South African airports. This directive comes in response to persistent flight delays at various airports across the country.
