The Race is On: Angola Selects Finalists for Concession of Luanda's New International Airport - Chinese vs. Portuguese
On July 8th, the Angolan Ministry of Transport reviewed the proposals from the tender and selected the bids from two consortia for the concession of the Dr. António Agostinho Neto International Airport (AIAAN) in Luanda, built by China and inaugurated in November 2023- a major infrastructure project amounting to nearly $3 billion
