Somalia and Tanzania Strengthen their Air Cooperation with a New Bilateral Agreement
Tanzania and Somalia have signed an agreement to resume direct commercial flights between their capitals—Dar
es Salaam and Mogadishu—marking a renewed era of cooperation between the two
East African nations. The agreement was unveiled on July 1, 2025, during
Somalia’s 65th Independence Day celebrations in Dar es Salaam.
