Ethiopia and Angola Update Air Agreement and Remove Flight Limitations
Ethiopia and Angola formalized a new Bilateral Air Service Agreement
(BASA) in Luanda, marking a significant step in enhancing air connectivity and
economic cooperation between the two nations. The agreement, signed during the
2nd ICAO/UN Tourism Conference on Air Transport & Tourism in Africa (July
22-24, 2025) in Luanda, updates a previous BASA from 1977 to align
with modern aviation standards and the Yamoussoukro Decision, which promotes
open skies for African airlines.
